When Piracy is ok

I am going to start this by saying that many people who pirate things believe that you should pirate because something is not worth the money, but if it's not worth anything, why pirate it? People also say that they want to pirate something because it's not worth the money they are asking for, but I think that if you are going to pirate something and spend your time with it, it better be something that you will remember and like; since those memories shouldn't cost the amount they are asking for, it's probably not worth it in the first place.

If you are still going to pirate something, saying that it's not worth the price or that you don't like the people who made it, you are still helping the game by pirating it. You might not be helping financially, but you will be helping become more popular.

Piracy also hurts whoever made the product, and it will be harder for them to make products like that again. Some people don't have enough money to buy the product, but if the creators have a donation page, at least donate a little bit so it will help them create other things you like.

Ok, I have talked about why you should not pirate, but do you know when all of this goes out the window? When you can't even get the product from an official source. Getting the product through a reseller is not going to help the creators of the product because they see none of that money. Like the Nintendo WiiU and 3DS storefront shutdowns, there is no official way to get these products anymore; that is when piracy is good.
